A visit to the Artworks can provide stimulus for an entire term (and may create memories that last a lifetime!
Our fabulous gallery space is great for running large-scale creative activities and our changing exhibition programme means there’s always something new and exciting for children to experience. We can incorporate studio tours into your visit, giving children a glimpse into a world of creativity, characters and careers, that children may never have known existed.
We appreciate that it can be costly, time consuming and stressful to bring pupils out on visits, but we’re here to help you get the most from your visit and make sure it’s remembered for all the right reasons.
Artist Educator Led Sessions
Work with our experienced Early Years practitioner to explore and respond to the gallery space, through a range of fun, hands-on activities, including story-telling, song, movement and art activities. All children will create artworks that can be taken back to school.
Each session is adapted for the needs of your group and will vary depending on what’s on in the gallery. Packed lunches can be eaten in the gallery space, if booked in advance
Please note that Early Years sessions only run on Thursdays and Fridays.
