#IWILL Social Action Youth Art Project
Students at The Halifax Academy worked together with Everybody Arts to deliver a social action youth art project.
Over the course of a year, students were invited to consider how they can use art to affect positive change in their own lives and the lives of others, now and in the future.
The project provided students with specialist training and support from socially engaged artist practitioners who worked with the students to discover ways to think, express and communicate their ideas visually.
Due to the Pandemic we had to make some changes to the project delivery and started delivering lessons through printed worksheets. These sessions have been brought together into a printed and digital workbook, full of creative activity ideas that explore the links between Art and Activism.
